ION Fitness attends China Cup International Regatta

Inaugurated in 2007, the China Cup International Regatta is the first-ever and only big boat sailing regatta initiated by Chinese. Approved by the General Administration of Sport of China, the regatta is held annually and each year it attracts over 100 boats with 1000 sailors from more than 33 nationalities to compete in the event, gaining wide attention from sailing community and international media.

Based on the past five years’ success and experience, the organizing committee is confident to make the 6th China Cup better and more professional and at the same time keep promoting the sport of sailing and a nautical lifestyle in China as committed.

Under the auspices of Chinese Yachting Association and the Shenzhen Administration of Culture, Sport, Tourism, 2012 China Cup will be managed by the China Cup International Regatta Management Co., Ltd. as before while Royal Hong Kong Yacht Club and Shenzhen Vanke Longcheer Yacht Club will provide base and professional supports.

Besides the race, wonderful cultural events will continue to bring more fun to the regatta.

This year, ION Fitness sponsors ION sailing club team in FAREAST 28R group, and this famous sailing team in China will do their best to compete with other international teams.

ION Shanghai Sailing Club Team is an elite team consisting of 8 veteran and professional coaches and they will take part in Fareast 28R, the new One Design Class in 2014 China Cup. They look forward to exchanging sailing experience with other competitors, enhancing their racing experience in top international regatta, demonstrating the club’s professional strengths and team image, and introducing Hai Shang Fan You to more people. ION Shanghai Sailing Club Team will strive to have a great performance this time.
